What is TEQS?
TEQS is a shared-use type of incubator facility in Osaka intended to promote and cultivate the digital media industry whether that be through IT, images, games, animation, web development or smartphone applications.
First of all, as a means of business support, TEQS assists companies in their startup and development by providing them with office space. In addition, as a means of production environment support, there are production studios on site and audio/visual equipment for rent. Furthermore, as a means of cultivating human resources, TEQS holds various types of technical seminars on the production of software applications, website development, SNS, images and so forth, as well as seminars on IT trends and business startups. TEQS also has a library of reading material to support tenants.
Purpose
TEQS provides a wide range of support intended to assist new business creation, develop entrepreneurs in the digital media industry and hone technical skills, as part of the effort to enhance the regional competitiveness and economic development of Osaka.

About Sakishima Cosmosquare
Sakishima Cosmosquare where TEQS is located is on the Osaka waterfront. It is a business district for promoting urban development via cooperation between the pubic and private sectors. In its inception, it has been planned as an international business center with a particular focus on Asia. The area is home to many convention facilities (Osaka International House Foundation, Intex Osaka, Asia and Pacific Trade Center) and businesses dealing in precision machinery, information and communications.
